The conference will be October 7-9, 2009 at the Missoula Hilton Garden Inn & Convention Center (3720 N Reserve Street / 406.532.5300).
Class times will be 0800-1700 hours Wednesday, Thursday & Friday. Tuition will be $275.00 for registration received by August 31, 2009. There will be a $25.00 late fee assessed for all registrations received after August 31, 2009. There will be no refunds for cancellations received after August 31, 2009. A special NWGIA Conference rate of $93.00 + tax will be offered by the Hilton Garden Inn to conference attendees who book rooms by September 11, 2009. Attendees need to advise hotel staff they will be attending conference when making reservations to ensure they receive the special rate. The training conference is restricted to law enforcement, corrections, probation/parole, prosecutors, criminal analysts, and military personnel. There will be an additional day of training offered on October 6, 2009 that will not be restricted to law enforcement. This single day of training is available to educators, social workers, counselors and others in professional fields who work with gang and youth violence issues. Law enforcement, corrections, probation/parole, prosecutors, criminal analysts, and military personnel who have limited experience in the field of street gangs or prison gangs are also encouraged to attend this additional training day. Tuition for the one day conference will be $100.00 for persons only attending that training day and $50.00 for persons who are also attending the three-day conference.
